CARBON FIBER-ROHACELL SANDWICH PANELS Carbon Fiber Sandwich Panels with Rohacell Core

These very light, stiff panels have Rohacell 71 or end-grain balsa cores sandwiched between 0.028" thick carbon fiber skins applied at 0/90 degree orientation on both sides. The textured surfaces aid in secondary bonding. Ideal for light weight bulk heads! To improve peel strength, finish edges of your parts with filled epoxy up to 0.125" thick. If you are bolting through the panel, end-grain balsa cores with reinforcement are recommended.

PLEASE NOTE: Sandwich panels can de-laminate easily if not properly handled. It is not recommended that a saw blade with teeth be used to cut this material. We recommend using a reinforced Dremel cutoff wheel. Always sand the edges parallel to the skins. Skins may be re-bonded using Epoxy or CA glue.
